Jayne Tarasun’s current works mix traditional printmaking techniques with a painterly approach to colour and form. Using translucent layers of inks on handmade or fine Japanese paper, her compositions are built up layer after layer, often resulting in extraordinarily subtle colour mixes. Although she works intuitively, she will always begin with a theme.
Each theme or series comprises several individual and unique pieces, between two and 12 in each body of work, and are usually linked by colour. Several of her works are also available on a range of postcards.
Prices between £42 and £450.
The work comes mounted but not framed – framing can be arranged if required.
